Spyware Removal Recommendations

by Ron Rogers

My friend is a sport fisherman, at least that's what he plans to do one day, on a daily basis he tunes up computers and does an brilliant job and has earned a perfect reputation. If I have a computer dilemma, he's the emergency number I key-in and no matter how difficult or intricate the problem, give him some leeway and he'll ferret out a way out. He told me something unsettling the other day, it seems that 80% of the units he services have spyware or adware on their hard drives, and most his customers are uninformed of it; only calling him when their computers become slugish.

The world wide web is similar to a living, breathing creature forever evolving, and not always in a constructive path, though it unquestionably has given me opportunities. As the days flow and expertise moves forward, so also does spyware. It is critical today to have Spyware Removal software on your PC and to run it regularly; equally is keeping the software up to date, because what worked last week may overlook a new type ofvirus or malwarecreated since the previous scan.

As benchmark for this report (using a separate and clean system) I performed a test, removing my spyware removal software then visiting several traffic trade sites. These websites are perfect for new webmasters, allowing them the method to send people to their own websites, simply by their at other sites. They work like this:

The surfer is shown a site at random (usually category specific) and credits are debited to his/her account The credits are assigned to a site you want to promote. when others follow the same process, your website is offered for review. It is designed to be a win/win scenario.

In theory this is a beautiful plan, but some (not all) of these surfing sites are either run by or visited by people with dishonesty on their mind. Their intent not to merely display an offer or website, but to send spyway to your computer. And today some adware is intelligient enough to initiate the installation of spyware/adware onto your computer, simply by looking at a particular website. I'm not criticizing these sites or telling you not to use them, I am recommending vigilance and stating you be sure your computer is secure.

If you're reading this, statistics say you may already have or will soon run into spyware or adware. If you have the belief, I don't visit movies or music sites and I certainly never install illegal titles, then you are one of the few, but you are VERY MUCH still at risk. Take the your PC. Take heed of the old saying...

'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'

In this day and age it not only makes good sense, its mandatory to protect yourself. There is a lot of your data, either from your job or personal reasons; just imagine waking up to discover all your details vanished. Shocking, positively... Could it happen?... Yes it could. Avoidable? Yes by installing the right spyware removal software.

Were you aware that spyware was so widespread, perhaps you're wondering what will spyware and adware do to my small network. Outstanding, happy to know you're taking heed. For the most part spyware/adware/malware are not rampant killers, but silent reporters. Collecting datathen reporting your activity to some guy in a dark room; the spyware can display advertisements and probably will choke your PC, slow your processor and diminish your connection to the web. It's not so much the damage done, but the fact that your life, your privacy, your system has been breached and these people (whomever they are) have no right to be there.

Thankfully there are smart people who feel exactly the same way that I do; this group want to take action. I can't write code, Instead I write, and I write these thoughts to offer advance warning and recommend you to take action and defend your home computer. I am grateful to those guys and gals with the hard work and heart to program and offer for public use these top drawer spyware/adware removal programs.

When you make a decision on which spyware programs to use, I'd propose frequent scans of your network. When you set up the spyware removal tool properly, most of the grunt work is done on autopilot, and probably while you're asleep.
